Though it is not available here yet, this sounds so cool!
Returning from a vacation outside of the states just got easier for U.S. residents. U.S. Customs and Border Protection have just released an app that allows American travelers to submit their passport and customs declaration information using their smartphone or tablet instead of filling out the traditional paper forms. The Mobile Passport app is free to download on both iOS and Android devices and is currently available to U.S. citizens with a valid U.S. passport and Canadian citizens with both a valid Canadian passport and a B1 or B2 visa status. After downloading the app, qualified users are prompted to set up a profile using their passport information. They can then use the app to submit customs forms electronically and take advantage of dedicated lanes for Mobile Passport users. So far, the app can only be used at two U.S. airports. (Daily Mail)
