MAY DAY!!!!!!!!! ALGOMA   PASSENGER TRAIN TO BE TERMINATED
WE ARE DESPERATE
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO FIX THIS CRISIS

  • Save Algoma’s passenger train
  • Support our Northern        Communities
  • Support our Northern Economy
  • Support opportunity for        regional First Nations
  • Save our multi-million dollar        tourism economy

WE CALL ON YOU TO   FINISH FIXING THE PROBLEM.

On March 31 you made the responsible decision to return our Algoma passenger   train to the Remote Passenger Rail Program funding.  We urge you   to  continue helping us to save the our unique rail transportation in   this remote area. The Algoma passenger train provides over $38 million in   economic impact to our region through property investment and tourism. Our   Algoma passenger train also provides safe, accessible transportation into our   remote wilderness region for local recreationists, property owners, tourists   and First Nations who need to access their traditional territories for   cultural, economic development and employment.

This crisis puts the livelihood of many in our northern region in   jeopardy, puts property and business investments in jeopardy and eliminates   unique and valuable recreation and employment opportunities.
THIS IS OUR URGENT   CALL FOR YOUR HELP.

2.     PLEASE attend the Sault City Council Meeting this Monday, July 13 at 4:30 pm   to show our support for continued efforts to save the passenger train   service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
