OPPSault OPP made an arrest late last night.  Officers were conducting RIDE checks on Highway 17 East around 11:15, when a truck towing a trailer was stopped.  An investigation determined that the male driver had been consuming alcohol.  34 year old Stephen Simon of Sault Ste. Marie faces one count of driving over the legal limit when he appears in court September 21st.
