The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry say they will not be setting a trap or using immobilization in relocating bears following two recent attacks in the Sault.
The Ministry says they are aware that there has been other bear activity within the city as a result of attractants such as garbage or foods stored outside of the home.
The Ministry had had staff in the area of the two attacks on many occasions last week and have been in regular contact with the City Police Services.
They say they will continue to monitor activity in the area.
The two incidents occured within days of each other late last month on Old Goulais Bay Road on and Old Garden River Road.
The Ministry believes the two incidents involved two different mother bears and cubs.
