Concerned citizen Mark Brown has received more than 250 responses to his request for support to pressure City Council to hold off on the appointment of the new Commissioner of Finance and Treasurer, until such time as the new CAO is appointed.   The consensus of those responding to his anonymous on-line poll has been 98.87% infavour of waiting.   Brown will now be trying to get on the agenda for the next City Council meeting to present his petition and ask that any hiring decisions be delayed so that a full consultation with the public can be held – and finalized – no later than the April 27th Council meeting.
