Canada’s Mac Marcoux and brother BJ Marcoux (guide) skied hard during Thursday’s Super-G (visually impaired) race at the IPC Alpine Skiing World Championship in Panorama, BC claiming silver – making it two podiums in two days for the Marcoux brothers.

“We got off to a little bit of a slow start, then coming down into the speed sections we started to pick it up from there,” explained BJ Marcoux.  “We raced pretty solid and we ended up in second place, which is great!”

Three time Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games medallist Mac Marcoux, of Sault Ste Marie, ON will add this silver World Championship to his already successful season. On the world cup circuit Marcoux secured eight podium finishes, five of which were 1st, resulting in securing the coveted Crystal Globe and title: Overall World Cup athlete.
