Mark Brown got five minutes to make his case to the city CAO selection committee at yesterday’s open meeting stressing the need for a completely open and transparent process – saying nothing bad can come from that … but the closed door approach they seem to be taking starting with the Search Firm slection, to the Evaluation sub-Committee Task Force can only lead to speculation and innuendo.
He followed up yesterday’s appearance with a letter to the Mayor and members of City Council on the Selection Committee – expressing the desire that all subsequent meetings be open to the public.
The Mayor has followed up this morning indicating Brown will not be welcome at any subsequent sub-Committee meetings … and it’s the last time he plans to communicate with him … anyother enquiries can be directed to the Clerk’s attention to see if they warrant further response.
