SaultMICity Commissioners in Sault, Michigan will be having a special meeting on Monday at 4:15 p.m. at City Hall.  They will meet regarding the Reconciliation of the 2015-16 Fiscal Year Budget.  The group will decide on a number of ‘Hit and Wish List’ items.  Most of the items that will be discussed by the Commission involve budget corrections or reductions done to increase transparency.  One is the addition of an 18 thousand dollar expense for the Kemp Roof Replacement and the other involves 40 thousand dollars in Gaming Compact Revenue.   Other budget reductions in the Police, Fire and Ambulance Payroll Other Line Items totalling more than 50 thousand dollars are also on that list.  Public hearings on the budget will be scheduled at next week’s regular commission meeting, with those hearings and possible passing of the budget to happen on May 18th.
