Sault Ste Marie will celebrate National Youth Arts Week with the following events:
Opening at the Art Gallery of Algoma, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm May 1st.  The opening celebration with speakers will be followed by the Graffiti Graphics workshop led by Mistr Tahti.
Graffiti Reframed Graffiti/Mural Window Exhibition; the Exhibition runs from May 1st through 7th with a closing reception on May 8th at the Downtown Association, 496 Queen Street East, from 5:00 pm. to 7:00 pm.
The Arts Council ) is holding a Cosplay party at Shabby Motley, at 356 Queen Street East (across the street) Saturday May 2nd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Dress up as your favourite pop culture character, (“I AM GROOT”) or come as you are normally. Humans are certainly welcome.
The Arts Council of Sault Ste Marie & District is holding a Paint and Draw class at their location at 369 Queen Street East, on Sunday, May 3rd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
This celebration of our youth and arts proposes to be a great time for all.  Please come join in the fun!
