City council was told at last night’s meeting that a much more in-depth look at the budget year to date and the financial impacts of the pandemic will be provided at the next council meeting in two weeks time.
A preliminary report presented last month to council showed a net financial impact projected through the end of May to be over 664-thousand dollars.

Council agreed last night to allocate 60-thousand dollars in city funds to allow for a feasibility study and initial design concept for a new and larger Kinsmen Centre for the Hiawatha Highlands recreation area to go ahead.
