The Sault Police Service have identified a 19-year old Toronto man who was arrested back in mid-March in connection with the Caldeon Street homicide investigation.
Isiah Alvardo was arrested with the assistance of the Toronto Police Service in connection with the January 9th shooting incident that police had said was the result of a botched robbery.
The accused faces both weapons and drug possession and trafficking charges.
Police had indicated earlier that they believed three people had attended a home on that January date with the intention of robbing the occupant.
Two of the robbery suspects were arrested days after the incident while the third suspect is the deceased 44-year old John David Jamieson.
No murder charges have been laid at this point.
A 24-year old was arrested in early February and was charged with accessory after the fact to murder—that charge has been downgrade to accessory after the fact to commit an indictable offence.
