Local activist Mark Brown is taking issue with the City Council approval of the latest four year contract with three of it’s unionized worker groups represented by CUPE.   He was unable to make a presentation at Monday night’s meeting and hopes he and his delegation will be able to speak at a future meeting … calculating that if this week’s settlement is transferred to the other bargaining units as well, it’ll add up to an extra $2 million in payroll costs each year … $8 million over four years.
