ForestFireThe Ministry of Natural Resources reported a busy weekend for forest fires in the Northeast.  26 fires had been reported.   Of those weekend fires:  ten of them are extinguished, five were being held, two were not yet under control and nine are under control.  Only one new fire was reported on Monday.  Sudbury 38 is now 100 percent contained and held at 438 hectares.  An Emergency Area Order issued just over a week ago around that fire remains in effect. The forest fire hazard in the Northeast is low to moderate for areas north of the French River and moderate to high for areas south of the French River.
