Education Minister visits École Notre-Dame-du-Sault

On January 23, students and staff at Sault Ste. Marie’s École Notre-Dame-du-Sault offered a warm welcome to the Honourable Mitzie Hunter, Ontario’s Minister of Education, during her visit to this Northern Ontario community. Following a warm welcome by a delegation of students, the minister was able to meet Kidergarten students, take part in a grade 6 mathematics lesson and meet grade 6 student Miguel and North, his service dog. This visit enabled Minister Hunter to meet several students and members of Sault Ste. Marie’s French language Catholic school and appreciate its valued contributions to the community’s Francophone population.
