Our hearts go out to communities in British Columbia affected by the devastating wildfires. We are committed to keeping customers connected to critical resources and loved ones, while contributing to immediate disaster relief efforts on the ground.

We are proud to support the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts on the ground in B.C. by launching text-to-donate and matching all donations up to $50,000 until the end of August. Canadians can make a $5 donation by texting the word ROGERS to 20222 or any amount by visiting the Canadian Red Cross British Columbia Fires Appeal campaign site

To keep our customers connected, we are proactively waiving Canadian long-distance, SMS and data overage charges for impacted Rogers and Fido wireless customers August 18 – 31, 2023. We are also proactively crediting Shaw internet, landline phone and television customers who experience loss of service or are evacuated, during the period they cannot access their services.

Rogers is committed to helping build a resilient Canada, which includes partnering with organizations like the Canadian Red Cross to enable emergency preparedness and support immediate relief efforts when disasters strike communities. If you live in areas impacted by wildfires, please stay safe and follow the latest updates from local emergency services.
